Authorization service
The Datahub authorization service offers customers a way of managing authorizations that is more flexible than the end-customer portal. The service allows customers to approve authorization requests from a party. Customers log on to the authorization service in the same way they do the Datahub end-customer portal – using Suomi.fi authentication.
The authorization service must offer end customers the following functionalities:
The customer can choose one or more of their accounting points to issue an authorization for.
The customer can also choose to issue an authorization for all of their accounting points at once (option: “Issue authorization for all my accounting points”).
Before issuing an authorization or approving an authorization request, the customer is asked to select which rights the authorized party obtains with each type of authorization.
In the authorization service, the customer sees the authorization requests sent by other parties and can approve them all with one click. When approving a request, the user can review which accounting points and information the requested authorization covers, as well as the authorization type.
If they wish, the customer may remove accounting points from an authorization request before approval.
The customer may terminate authorizations.
The authorization service provides interfaces to parties. These interfaces allow the parties to integrate authorization as a seamless element of a service provider’s digital service path. The service can be set up to show the customer the authorization request submitted by the specific relevant party to Datahub, which the customer can then approve with one click.
