Go to space: upcoming Datahub versionThe public documentation for Datahub’s next version

Welcome to the wiki for the current Datahub version! This site contains the documentation for version 2.5.

Version 2.5 was deployed on November 11, 2025. Next version update is on May 19, 2026.

You can find the Finnish-language wiki sites here. Suomenkieliset wikisivustot löytyvät täältä.

You can show or hide the sidebar or table of contents by clicking the Expand/Collapse sidebar button in the top left corner. If Datahub content is not visible in the sidebar, select a wiki site from Spaces or click the image cards above. On the mobile app or in a mobile browser, the sidebar is hidden unless you switch to desktop mode. The table of contents is also available at the bottom of this page.

Using image cards or spaces you can also navigate to the site of another version. In our wiki, each Datahub version has its own site.

Datahub documentation moving to wiki format

Our solution consists of separate spaces for each Datahub version. Instructions will get their own space too, as soon as we transfer them to the wiki.

  • The wiki space for the current version is permanent and will always be updated with the latest content. This ensures that users’ bookmarks or links keep working (unless, for example, a Datahub event and thus its page is removed in a version update) and always lead to valid content. The current version’s space will always contain the documentation for the version in production, even when the Datahub version changes. Documentation for outdated system versions will be available as a PDF under an Archive section (starting from the replacement of version 2.5 by v. 2.6).

  • The wiki uses a tree structure with subpages for each topic.

  • Datahub updates texts whenever needed. Users can see when each page was last updated. The page history shows the kind of change made.

  • Users can export wiki pages to PDF or Word format. Datahub also provides some precompiled pages combining all subpages of a specific topic.

  • From version 2.6 on, when version-specific changes are made to a particular wiki page (e.g., the content or structure of an event or message is changed), the page is labelled with that Datahub version. This allows users to track the change history of a specific process description by version: the process was updated in version 2.6, but not in v. 2.7.

  • From version 2.6 on: in the documentation for the upcoming version, text sections that differ substantially from the previous version are highlighted in green. All pages with version-specific changes are marked with the corresponding Datahub version label (e.g., versio-2_6). This enables us to provide a change history page that lists only the changed pages in the version. By following the page links, you can find the changed text sections on each page. The change history page also briefly describes the changes. This means users do not need to manually search the entire documentation for version-specific updates since they have already been compiled.

  • Dedicated documentation in document format will no longer be produced for the Datahub Services site; instead, the main documentation will only be available here on the wiki.
